ideal for exploring parks and quick bites nearby
my stay was really enjoyable, made even better by the hotel's excellent proximity to scenic parks like Fowler Lake Park, just 5 km away, and an array of dining options including MOD Pizza which was only a short 500 meters stroll, perfect for quick eats after a day of exploring.

The person at the front desk was very good.
I am outraged by the incompetence of the front desk staff. I requested a room facing the back of the hotel upon check-in, but instead, I was given a room facing the front. The difficulty with key access was staggering, requiring multiple trips back to the desk. To make matters worse, my room was not clean. there were cracker crumbs in the sheets and hair on the towels.

Had an awesome getaway with friends! We enjoyed relaxing at the golf club and even hit the Naga-Waukee War Memorial Golf Course. The fitness center was solid, and breakfast was really good. Plus, the staff went above and beyond, making sure we had everything we needed during our stay.
The only downside was the breakfast wait time, which could've been quicker for us, taking longer than we'd hoped.

The stay was quite enjoyable, highlighted by the comfort of my King Room, which was spacious and allowed for a great night's sleep. I appreciated that there was always coffee in the lobby, which made mornings easier. I loved the unique touch of Metallica playing in the common areas. it created a fun vibe. Overall, the experience was pleasant, but the wait time for breakfast was a bit frustrating, taking nearly 40 minutes on one occasion.

The hotel was very clean and quiet. My King Room felt excellent, with comfortable beds that made for a great night’s sleep. The bartender, Kelly, provided wonderful service, making me feel welcome. I appreciated having coffee available in the lobby all the time, which was a nice touch. The location was also great for walking my dog, with nearby parks just a short distance away. However, when checking in, I requested a room facing the back, but was given one facing the front instead. The microwave in the room was small, barely fitting a cup of coffee. The breakfast wait time was a bit of a hassle at 40 minutes, and the food didn’t come out hot or fresh on the first day. Despite these issues, the lobby’s atmosphere, with Metallica playing, definitely added a fun vibe to my stay.

My King Room was super comfy. The bed and pillows felt amazing, honestly one of the best nights of sleep I've had. The room itself was really clean and quiet, which I loved. Plus, the shower head was at a great height. Just a chill vibe overall, especially with Metallica playing in the lobby. Perfect touch!

The breakfast at Hilton Garden had some promise, but it didn't quite hit the mark, coming out cold and soggy. On the upside, the lobby coffee was a win, accessible anytime for that perfect pick-me-up. Plus, the location is a gem for dog owners, and the bartender Kelly deserves a shout-out for her outstanding service!
While the room was cozy, and the cleanliness was okay, I did find Cracker Barrel crumbs in my sheets. The breakfast wait time was a major turn-off, with a 40-minute countdown for our meal that could’ve been spent savoring local eats instead.
